This quote illustrates precisely why we do what we do. Our passion is to support and enable people who dare “to introduce a new order of things.” The world needs these people – visionaries, risk takers, entrepreneurs, corporate innovators – to solve the challenges we face today and to create wealth for all of us.

In 2020, employees of Orange Hills GmbH from Munich (www.orangehills.com) launched the knowledge base businessdesign.org. Its first job was internal: to give everyone at Orange Hills one shared methodological standard for modern innovation management. How the approach came about is described in Origins & Evolution.

Later, we opened it up to the public. It is free and accessible to everyone, worldwide. Why? Because companies need to professionalise their innovation management, and that requires a strong methodological foundation. No information gap should stand in the way – implementation is hard enough on its own. Use the End-to-End Innovation Process and the Tools & Methods as often as you like.
